STXCAN001

Part of the RSTi PacSystem series, the GE Fanuc Emerson STXCAN001 is engineered as a slave network interface. This module stands out with its compatibility with the CANopen communication protocol, which ensures robust data transmission in control systems. Its baud rate flexibility spans from 10 Kbps to 1 Mbps, accommodating various operational demands.

This device processes a total I/O data size of 64 bytes for both inputs and outputs, enabling efficient data handling capabilities. For physical connectivity, a 5-pin connector is utilized. The unit is designed to supply field power within a range of 24V DC, with acceptable input variations of 11 to 28.8 volts DC.

When typical usage conditions are observed, the STXCAN001 dissipates around 100 mA at 24 volts, allowing for stable performance in standard applications. Furthermore, it draws a maximum of 1.5 A internally when loaded at 5V DC, demonstrating a relatively compact power demand for its features.

LED indicators are incorporated for monitoring, including indications for field power, expansion modules, network status, and overall module activity. These features enhance usability and facilitate diagnostics. The physical dimensions of the module are 99 mm in width, 42 mm in height, and 70 mm in depth, allowing for easy integration into existing setups.
