The IC695ALG312 is an isolated Thermocouple input module that is part of the PACSystem RX3i platform, currently under Emerson Automation, formerly produced by GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP). The IC695ALG312 is a Thermocouple input module that is part of the PACSystem RX3i mid-range controller series of Emerson Automation, formerly from GE Intelligent Platforms. This module is ideally used for Temperature application and direct integration of field transducers as this module supports direct wiring of Thermocouple Type J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, or C sensors ang voltage signals such as +/-150mV or +/-50mV. The IC695ALG312 has Twelve (12) input channels, each provided with a built-in Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) with resolution ranging from 1.5-16 bits, depending on the set input filters. The converted data by the built-in ADC circuit is configurable as a 16-bit integer stored within a 32-bit register or a 32-bit real number. Each channel has integration time of 15 ms to 120 ms with Voltage accuracy of +/- 0.1% of voltage span at 25 Degree Celsius and +/- 0.25% of span over temperature range. In addition, this module has repeatability of 0.05% of voltage span at a constant temperature over 30 second period. The IC695ALG312 is installed to an RX3i universal backplane. Compatible RX3i CPU for use with this module must have minimum firmware version 5.5 or later. For programming and configuration, compatible software is Machine Edition 5.8 Logic Developer PLC or later must be used. For termination and sensors and signal wires, this module must be installed with a terminal block assembly. Compatible terminal block includes Box-style (IC694TBB032), Extended Boxstyle (IC694TBB132), Spring-style (IC694TBS032), or Extended Spring-style (IC694TBS132) Terminal Block. Use extended terminal blocks to provide additional shroud depth for termination of shield wire.
