This provides a distinct advantage as it effectively reduces downtime and permits maintenance activities such as module replacement and integrity verification to be carried out without affecting the present operating mode of the attached controller and modules. Additionally, this backplane supports installation of optional baseplate such as controller base and ethernet expansion base.
The IC695CHS012 backplane is provided with a TB1 terminal block that allows termination of optional external 24VDC power source for use by some IC693 and IC694 modules . Recommended wires for use is AWG 14-22 individual wires.
