The IC695CPK330 is a Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) processor that is part of the PACSystem RX3i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) product family. This controller is manufactured by GE Fanuc / Emerson Automation that boasts of a modern, highly scalable, and high-performance design as it is capable of high-speed I/O communication and Highway Addressable Remote Transducer (HART) pass thru.

This processor comes with 64 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 64 MB non-volatile memory, a microprocessor with 1 GHz clock speed and battery pack capability. It is also equipped with Three (3) Ethernet ports in total, with One (1) Ethernet port supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps transmission rate and Two (2) Ethernet ports functioning as an embedded switch that supports 10/100/1000 Mbps transmission rate as well. Supported Ethernet topologies are liner, ring and star topologies. This processor has Energy pack capability which allows data to be written to the processor’s non-volatile memory during power failure. This prevent unwanted erasure of the user program and provides additional ON time for the processor to carry out the data transfer process. Additionally, this processor supports a variety of communication protocols such as SRTP Client/Server, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC-UA Server, EGD and PROFINET.

Additionally, this processor is equipped with a USB 2.0 interface which allows downloading of user program from a removable storage or smart phone. This processor is designed to be Twice faster than the IC695CPK320 and supports redundant or Hot-standby configuration. This processor is programmed and commissioned using the GE Proficy Machine Edition software or Logic Developer programming software.

The IC695CPK330 CPU supports a 10/100/1000 Mbaud Ethernet port with an RJ-45 physical interface. A 2-port 10/100/1000 switch is also built into the CPU module. The maximum number of local racks supported by the IC695CPK330 CPU is 8. Communication options include the DNP3 outstation, HART SNP, SRTP, IEC104, IEC61850 client, and the OPC-UA EGD protocols. I/O protocols including the Modbus TRU, Profibus, Modbus TCP, DeviceNet, Genius, EGD, and Reflective Memory protocols are also supported. Programming software including the Machine Edition Logic Developer PLC 8.6 SIM8 or later software can be used for module programming and configuration. The IC695CPK330 CPU supports multiple programming languages including the ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming languages. The power requirement of the IC695CPK330 CPU is 3.3 Amps at 5 Volts DC. The IC695CPK330 CPU occupies 2 slots on the system backplane.
