The IC695CPK400 is a Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) CPU that belongs to the PACSystems RX3i Automation platform of GE Fanuc / Emerson Automation. This CPU module is a high-performance, powerful and stand-alone device that may be operated without the need of traditional baseplate or chassis. This CPU is still capable of implementing complex communication and architecture, such as control of remote I/O systems, communication with partner processors, data exchange with Human Machine Interface (HMI), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (DCS) and other functionalities. This stand-alone controller features an embedded 64 MB storage, with a powerful processor 1.2 GHz AMD G Series Quad Core and supports up to 32k Bits Discrete I/O and 32k Words for Analog I/O with embedded field agent capability. This controller is also equipped with an energy pack.

The IC695CPK400 is equipped with One (1) 10/100/1000 ethernet port and Two (2) 2-port switch that supports 10/100/1000 Mbps transmission speed. Through the embedded ethernet ports, different network topologies may be implemented including Media Redundancy (MRP) and PROFINET System Redundancy (PNSR). Different communication protocols is supported by the embedded ports such as SRTP Client/Server, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC-UA Server, Ethernet Global Data (EGD) and PROFINET.

Additionally, this controller is also equipped with One (1) RS232 communication port and One (1) Micro SD port for insertion of a Secure Digital (SD) card as non-volatile, removal storage. It also has Two (2) USB 3.0 port for firmware upgrades.

The IC695CPK400 also supports simplex and redundant configuration to meet standard and high-availability system requirements. It supports up to incremental frame rates as fast as 3 minutes in any configuration.

The IC695CPK400 CPU comes with an energy pack. The form factor of the CPU module is a standalone form factor. The storage that is available on the module is 64 MB. The I/O supported on the module includes 32K bits discrete inputs, 32K bits discrete outputs, 32K words analog inputs, and 32K words analog outputs. The IC695CPK400 CPU supports an embedded field agent. Options for redundancy on the CPU module include media redundancy (MRP) and Profinet system redundancy (PNSR). One integrated Ethernet port is available on the module which supports 10/100/1000 Mbps. Additionally, a 2-port switch capable of 10/100/1000 Mbps operation is also available. The Ethernet port supports the following communications protocols such as EGD, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, SRTP client/server, and the OPC-UA server. Two USB version 3.0 ports are also available on the IC695CPK400 CPU. Supported storage options include the Micro SD option. One RS-232 serial interface is also provided on the IC695CPK400 CPU. The programming and configuration software for the IC695CPK400 CPU is the Proficy Machine Edition software which enables highly efficient application development. The recommended operating temperature range for the IC695CPK400 CPU is from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.
