About IC693APU305

The GE Fanuc IC693APU305 processor module is designed as an independent I/O processor module that is capable of receiving information from the field devices that are connected to its inputs, process that information according to a user-defined set of instructions, and then produce an output signal to modify the controlled variable's behavior with no need for a separate Central Processing Unit (CPU). Complex motion-control applications such as speed measurement, bulk material processing, product packaging, labeling, and marking applications can be de-centralized with the use of stand-alone GE Fanuc IC693APU305 I/O Processor Modules. These input and output processors are excellent tools made to help the users streamline their industrial processes that rely on fast-response devices to deliver the expected throughput efficiently.



 



The GE Fanuc IC693APU305 I/O processor module are easily installed by inserting it in any available slot of a GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller or PLC baseplate backplane. The I/O module draws its 5 Volts DC power supply voltage from the backplane, but it does not source the field devices connected into its I/O and thus they must be powered from an independent supply. Up to 12 inputs can be monitored from the GE Fanuc IC693APU305 I/O processor module, which will respond to the system’s demands through its 8 fuse-protected outputs. The TTL pulse signals (off-state: 0 Volts DC, on-state: 5 Volts DC) or pulse signals ranging between 10 and 30 Volts DC can be connected to the module’s inputs. Both the input and output wiring is connected to the module by using a detachable terminal board.
