The GE Fanuc IC693CBL310 I/O Interface Cable Assembly Kit is made for use with all GE Fanuc 90-30 Series (IC693) programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and 32-point high-density I/O modules with 24-pin Fujitsu connectors. However, the IC693CBL310 Interface Cable Assembly Kit is not compatible with the Series 90-30 IC693 Axis Positioning Modules (APMs), and it must not be used in these applications. It is shipped as a factory assembly package consisting of two 10-foot-long I/O interface cables, a Fujitsu FCN-365S024-AU 24-pin connector, and a guide sheet for proper system wiring. The IC693CBL310 Interface Cable Assembly Kit has a 24-pin (straight) connector and a maximum cable length of 3 meters or 120 inches for both cables.

The GE Fanuc IC693CBL310 Interface Cable Assembly Kit is most suitable for the IC693 modules (IC693MDL654, 655, 752, and 753), the IC61 modules (IC610MDL102, 152, 105, and 310), and the MDL752 and MDL753 modules with the Fujitsu 24-pin connectors. The IC693 modules require 2 of these cables, which is why the assembly kit ships with two IC693CBL310 Interface Cables as the standard option. The IC693CBL310 Cables have  24-pin female connectors on one end and on the other end, they have tinned, stripped, and colored lead wires. For proper wiring, the users must connect the 24-pin end of the IC693CBL310 I/O cable to the Fujitsu 24-pin user I/O connector on the module. The IC693CBL310 I/O Interface Cable Assembly Kit has a wire code labelled A1 to A12 and B1 to B12, and each wire pair is tied with a tube (specifically with heat shrink-type tubes) for proper identification.
