The GE Fanuc IC693CBL319 I/O Interface Cable for the GE Axis Modules is a Wye type of interface cable that is designed to interconnect the Motion Mate Axis Modules. This interface cable connects the GE Axis Modules like the IC693APU301 and the IC693APU302 Axis Modules to compatible drives and controllers, and these modules require 2 I/O interface cables like the IC693CBL319 or IC693CBL311 cables to connect to the 2 male 24-pin connectors on the front of each module. The IC693CBL319 I/O Interface Cable is supplied as an assembly consisting of a 24-pin I/O connector, a cable, and a 25-pin D-type terminal block connector. The IC693CBL319 I/O Interface Cable offers 1 meter (3 feet) of maximum cable connection between Axis Modules and other drives or machines.

On one end of the IC693CBL319 I/O Interface Cable is a 24-pin female connector for connecting to a 24-pin male Power Mate Module connector, and on the other end of the cable is a 25-pin D-type terminal block connector. To meet specific application needs, the IC693CBL319 I/O Interface Cable can be replaced with the IC693CBL317 (3 meters long) or IC693CBL320 (1 meter long) cables. These cables (the IC693CBL317 and the IC693CBL320 cables) differ from the IC693CBL319 I/O Interface Cable because they come with a drain shield wire that is outside of the cable housing, and they help to improve noise immunity. The IC693CBL319 I/O Interface Cable has I/O connector pins (wires) that are coded from A1 through A12 and from B1 through B12, and the 25-pin terminal block connector pins are coded from 1 through 25.
