IC693MCM001

The IC693MCM001 module is a digital servo interface module manufactured by GE Fanuc/GE Intelligent Platforms as part of the Series 90-30 product line. This module should be installed in a control system that is made to meet the EN 61000-4-2 standards. The Series 90-30 PLC system requires this module to be mounted in a metal enclosure which offers metal to metal connections for safety around the door. A continuous shielded servo-command cable is also required by the IC693MCM001 module and should be clamped on either end by using a high-frequency ground cable. Because this module is also a Power Mate J Interface Module, it supports standard operation only. It offers a motion program, position control, and an interface to the inputs and outputs. The mode also provides a link to the digital servo system as well as digital torque and velocity control.

The GE Fanuc IC693MCM001 interface module has a servo loop update time of 2 milliseconds for the 2-axis version with less than 5 seconds of block processing time. It is easy to use and the configuration software features non-volatile flash memory for the storage of 40 subroutines and 10 programs. The IC693MCM001 module allows the user to scale the programming units, including the transfer of the automatic data between the Power Mate J and the PLC tables without the need for user programming. This module has versatile I/O as well as position capture strobe input for every axis that has operator-specific control inputs. When using this module with the Power Mate J, version 3.52 or a higher version should be used along with the IC693 CPU firmware. Also, version 6.01 or higher of the IC641 software is recommended.
