IC693MDL630

The IC693MDL630 module is a discrete I/O module manufactured by GE Fanuc as part of the Series 90-30 PLC product line. This module features 8-point inputs with a positive logic module with a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. It also comes with 8 discrete inputs that are driven by the positive logic. The IC693MDL630 module features 6 different types of I/O modules for the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLCs that are available as discrete or analog modules. The analog modules may come with analog output only, analog input only, or a blend of input and output channels. This module has an input function for 8, 16, or 32 points, with the discrete output modules featuring 5 to 32 points. The discrete combination modules such as the GE Fanuc IC693MDL630 input and output module come with a mixture of inputs and outputs on the faceplate.

The IC693MDL630 I/O module operates on power acquired from the field processor, but it requires an extra power supply of 24 Volts DC which also powers the input devices. This module also uses an LED to indicate the circuit status. The IC693MDL630 module is attached to the baseplate and secured by using 2 latches on the module. This GE Fanuc module needs to be connected to the power supply during its installation. It features status LED indicators that have specific numbers and letters to identify each of the I/O points, thus enabling the users to identify any problems that occur at particular I/O points. Every module comes with a hinged door as well as wiring information for the entire module. Part of the door is red for the AC wiring, blue for the DC wiring, and gray for the signal level wiring.
