The GE Fanuc module with part number IC693MDL645 is a Series 90-30 Positive / Negative logic input module. This module is used to interface input devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches, proximity switches, auxiliary contacts and other similar devices.

The IC693MDL645 is provided with a single input group, having One (1) common terminal. It can accept external voltage signals ranging 0-30 VDC with nominal voltage of 24VDC while the input current requirement is 7 mA at rated voltage with field side and logic side isolation rated at 1500 Volts.

The IC693MDL645 has an ON-state voltage rating of 11.5 - 30 VDC and OFF state voltage of 0-5VDC. Similarly, the ON-state current is 3.2 mA, minimum and 1.1 mA OFF-state current. The module’s ON-response time is 7 ms for both ON and OFF states. This module is installed to an available slot of a 90-30 PLC system 5-slot or 10-slot baseplate. It draws current from the backplane with 80 mA (all inputs on) from 5 volt bus on backplane and 125 mA from the Isolated 24 volt backplane bus or from user supplied power. Internally, the received voltage signal of the module is stored to the %I status table.

The IC693MDL645 has status LED indicators installed to depict the energization state of each channel. These indicators may also be used as troubleshooting reference, confirming if the signal voltage from the external connected device has reached the specific input point of the module. This module uses a 20-slot removable terminal block and provided with circuit information, printed on the hinged dorr of the module.

The GE Fanuc IC693MDL645 module comes with an input voltage range of 0 to 30 Volts DC, while the input current is rated at 7 milliamps. The response time is rated as 7 milliseconds on and 7 milliseconds off while the trigger voltage is 11.5 to 30 Volts. The connector type is rated as the terminal block type and it uses up to 20 screws that are all included with the module.
