This module is a Positive Logic Output module, specifically, sourcing current to the connected loads from the module common or positive power bus. It has Two (2) groups of Eight (8) channels each, with each channel rated at 0.5 Ampere load.
The IC693MDL740 has front panel LED indicators, located on top of the module. These LEDS individually represent the actuated state of each of the module’s channels as well as the operational state of the module. Being a sourcing output module, each channel of this module is capable of energizing common electrical loads such as contactors, relays, pilot lamps, buzzer, horn and other D24 VDC powered devices. This module does not come with internal fusing thus, to further protect the module, external fuses may be installed.
