About IC693MDL760

The GE Fanuc IC693MDL760 output module is a solenoid valve output module. It provides five 24 Volts DC rated sourcing outputs and 11 pneumatic outputs. Each pneumatic output on the IC693MDL760 output module has an internal 3-way solenoid-actuated valve with the associated output fitting on the module's front panel. When an output goes into the ON state, its corresponding valve connects a user-provided pressure source rated at a maximum of 100 PSI to the output fitting. This pressure source connects to a fitting that is located on the bottom side of the module. When an output goes into the OFF state, the output port on the respective valve is vented. An external power supply rated at 24 Volts DC is used to provide solenoid power. This external power supply connects to the DC output connector located on the module's front panel.



 



There pneumatic outputs on the IC693MDL760 output module are all grounded and the range of external solenoid power is 21.6 to 26.4 Volts DC. The inrush current and holding current for the solenoid are 33 milliamps per valve and 13 milliamps per valve, respectively, at 24 Volts DC. The maximum values for the off and on response times are 12 milliseconds each. One LED indicator is provided per output point to indicate if the output is ON or OFF. The LED power indicator indicates if the solenoid power is available. The maximum operating temperature for the IC693MDL760 output module is 45 degrees Celsius. The maximum value of the backplane current is 75 milliamps. At 30 degrees Celsius, all the pneumatic outputs can be continuously on, but at 40 degrees Celsius, only 6 pneumatic outputs can be continuously on, and at 45 degrees Celsius, only 4 pneumatic outputs can be continuously on.
