The GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR721 power supply module has been included in the Series 90-70 product line of GE PLCs and it is fully compatible with the GE IC697 racks and WME integrated racks. The main function of this power supply module is to provide regulated DC power output as well as a TTL. This TTL consists of a TTL-compatible logic shut-down signal. This means that for the power supply module can operate correctly, it needs to be attached to a power supply adapter module that is plugged into the power supply slot in the rack. This module will join the power supply module outputs and the rack backplane to monitor the TTLS signal. The GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR721 power supply module can be used externally without being mounted or installed into the rack. This means that the power supply module can be connected through a cable to both the PSA and the rack.
The GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR721 power supply module comes with a nominal input voltage rating of 24 Volts DC and the operating voltage ranges from 21 to 32 Volts DC. The output power of the module consists of 156 Watts maximum at its full load and the power supply module has an inrush energy rating of 22 Joules maximum at 32 Volts DC voltage. For its output options, the power supply module has an output power rating of 90 Watts maximum and a voltage current regulation rating of 5, 12, and -12 Amps with respective current ratings of 16.5, 1.5, and 1 Amps. The GE Fanuc Automation IC697PWR721 power supply module has an overvoltage limit of 6 to 7 Volts and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
