Horner Electric’s HE693RTD666 is designed as an isolated RTD input module, accommodating a variety of temperature monitoring needs. With six channels available, this module performs reliably in multiple measurement scenarios, ensuring effective temperature data collection. The resolution offered by the module spans several settings, including 0.05 °C and 0.1 °C, allowing for flexible application requirements.

The device boasts an accuracy of ±0.3 °C, making it suitable for applications that demand precise measurements. An 18-bit integrating A/D conversion enhances the module's performance in processing analog signals. Additionally, the input impedance exceeds 1,000 MΩ, indicating a high resistance to current flow, which ensures minimal loading on the sensor.

The input current for the RTD is recorded at 330 µA, allowing for efficient power usage while achieving accurate readings. The module offers an update time of 12.5 channels per second, enabling consistent data flow within a system, and can reach up to 50 channels per second when used with the RTD660 unit.

For enhanced safety and reliability, the isolation between field-to-logic inputs is rated at 1500 VAC, and channel-to-channel isolation is specified at 5 VAC. Power consumption for the unit is measured at 200 mA when operating at 5 VDC, aligning well with energy-efficient principles. It can withstand operating temperatures ranging from 0 to 60 °C and persists in storage conditions between -40 °C and 85 °C, making it suitable for various environmental applications.
