The Johnson Controls AS-CBL100-0 auxiliary cable kit is an auxiliary gear kit for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems. This cable kit has been designed and manufactured by Johnson Controls for use with METASYS HVAC system components. The cables in the AS-CBL100-0 cable kit can seamlessly interlink compatible HVAC system devices that use the same industrial network. The main application of this cable kit is to offer connectivity and optimize a METASYS HVAC system's efficiency. In addition, the cables in the AS-CBL100-0 cable kit are made with durable material, and they are easy to install, making this kit a versatile solution for HVAC system connectivity requirements. Additionally, the AS-CBL100-0 cable kit supports 2 connection options. The first option entails the attachment of individual wires to screw terminals, a traditional connection method that provides a direct connection between device but often demandsprecision. The second option involves the use of connectors that plug into designated terminals between the system's controller and the relay enclosure or Function Module Kit (FMK). The AS-CBL100-0 cable kit contains a quick-connect type of cable that is 0.9 meters or 3 feet long. This 3-foot quick connect cable can be used to connect consecutive AO points on a module to 2 FM-OAP103-0 transducers on an FMK. The quick-connect cable can also connect an Air-Handing Unit or AHU to a relay. In addition to the quick-connect cable, the AS-CBL100-0 cable kit contains FMK100 and RLY050/100/020 interconnect cables. The kit comes with a total of 10 cables, and it must be purchased separately from the controllers and HVAC system components that it is compatible with.
