The Johnson Controls AS-MOVKIT-0 is designed as a transient protection kit, safeguarding electrical circuits. Each kit consists of 12 MOVs with a voltage rating of 300 VAC, allowing them to effectively manage power surges. The surging capacity is rated at 10 kA, ensuring adequate protection in demanding conditions.

This product operates efficiently in various thermal environments, functioning within a temperature span of -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for diverse applications. The MOVs offer a Class I protection level, providing reliable electrical circuit defense. Compliance with UL 1449 and CSA C22.2 standards underscores the kit's reliability and safety credentials.

Every MOV in the kit measures 20 mm x 10 mm, allowing for compact installation. The entire kit weighs 0.25 kilograms and is designed for swift integration thanks to its spade quick-connect termination. For convenience, it is color-coded green to enhance visual identification during installation.

Additionally, the AS-MOVKIT-0 is compatible with and replaces the prior SMOKE-MOVKIT-0 kit. With an IP20 environmental rating, the unit protects solid objects larger than 12.5 mm, ensuring effective service in typical indoor environments.
