Designed for the Metasys DX series, the DX-91008304 expansion module offers comprehensive analog and binary input/output capabilities. It utilizes a 24 VAC power supply with a tolerance of ±15% and is suitable for operation at 50 or 60 Hz capabilities, ensuring it meets various system requirements. Equipped with an NEC 78C10 processor, this module features a robust memory arrangement consisting of 8 KB RAM, 56 KB EPROM, and 8 KB EEPROM for efficient data handling.

Communicating over RS-485 at a baud rate of 9600, this module ensures reliable data exchange. It offers six channels for analog input, which can support diverse RTD types, providing versatility in temperature and process monitoring. Additionally, two analog output channels are available, handling loads up to 500 ohms.

Digital input functionality comprises four potential-free contact inputs with a maximum response rate of 10 Hz. Complementing this, the device includes four triac outputs capable of delivering 0.5 A of continuous current at 24 VAC. For applications requiring time scheduling, the module accommodates up to eight programmable scheduling modules, enhancing automation control.

This device operates efficiently within a temperature range of 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F) and retains functionality in a humidity range of 10 to 90% relative humidity, non-condensing.
