The Johnson Controls DX-9121-8454 serves as a LONWORKS digital controller designed for effective building management systems. It requires an input of 24 VAC at either 50 or 60 Hz, with a nominal power consumption of 10 VA. This device operates within ambient conditions ranging from 0 to 50°C (32 to 120°F) and can withstand a relative humidity range of 10 to 90%, provided that condensation is absent.

For storage, the controller can endure temperatures between -20 and 70°C (0 and 160°F) while maintaining functionality with relative humidity levels of 5 to 95%. Integrated with the LONWORKS N2E Bus communication protocol, it allows for peer-to-peer networking, facilitating robust data interchange between connected devices.

The system includes multiple I/O options, featuring 8 analog inputs accepting signals from 0-10 VDC, 0-20 mA, as well as RTD sensors. In addition, it offers 8 dry contact inputs and 4 analog outputs, which can operate at either 0-10 VDC or 0/4-20 mA.
