Johnson Controls' NU-XBN101-0 point multiplex module is a flexible and specialized tool for checking the on/off state of 2-position devices, including fans, pumps, and security panels. Its primary function is to bridge operators and devices, allowing accurate health monitoring. Furthermore, the module is sensitive to pulse signals with a maximum frequency of 10 Hz, making it ideal for monitoring flow meters, utility meters, and other devices that produce pulses. A Multiplex Binary (XBN) module, the NU-XBN101-0 features 32 binary inputs and is sometimes referred to by that name. However, it can only act as a monitor due to a lack of outputs and control possibilities. The module's inputs may be switched between AC and DC for versatility. The low threshold is 2 Volts AC, and the high threshold is 18 Volts AC when set up as AC inputs and 3 Volts DC and 8 Volts DC when set up as DC inputs, respectively. Input DC voltage is rated at 120V DC, while input AC voltage is rated at 120V AC RMS at 50/60 Hz. The NU-XBN101-0 can function at temperatures between 32 and 122 degrees Fahrenheit and in relative humidity levels between 10% and 90% without incurring condensation. Temperatures between -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and relative humidity levels between 5% and 95% are acceptable for storing items. Because it can be installed by just plugging it in, the module is simple to set up and use. The input and output states and the module itself may be seen at a glance on the front panel through LED indicators. The reliability and efficiency of the NU-XBN101-0 are further improved by the module's built-in self-diagnostics, which are activated whenever the module is powered on.
