The Lenze E84AYCPMV-S is crafted as a communication module intended for PROFIBUS networks. Operating under the popular protocols of PROFIBUS DP-V0 and DP-V1, it ensures efficient and reliable communication across devices. This module is equipped with a 9-pin Sub-D connector for smooth interfacing, supporting RS485 as its communication medium.

For monitoring operational status, the module features five LED indicators for diagnostic purposes. Additionally, the configuration of addresses can be carried out easily via DIP switches or software, allowing adaptability to various network setups. The E84AYCPMV-S is powered through the connected device, simplifying the installation process.

On the networking side, it supports line or tree structures, utilizing repeaters for extended reach. With a maximum baud rate of 12 Mbps, the module can automatically detect optimum communication speeds. While this module can handle a maximum cable length of 1200 meters at reduced baud rates, it supports up to 31 slaves without repeaters and can accommodate 125 when used with repeaters. The data exchange capability is proficient at managing 16 words in both directions, ensuring efficient data transfer within the network.
