The Mitsubishi A1SY42P output module is a transistor output module that was designed for efficient operation and output connectivity. It is equipped with 64 output points, and all of its outputs are sink-type transistor outputs. The A1SY42P output module uses photocoupler isolation. It is compatible with a rated load voltage of 12/24VDC, and with an operating load voltage range of 10.2 to 30.4 VDC (peak voltage: 30VDC). Each output point can handle a maximum load current rating of 0.1 A, while the common can manage up to 2A of load current. The A1SY42P module’s maximum inrush current rating is 0.7A within the space of 10ms. The OFF-state leakage current rating is 0.1mA or lower. The A1SY42P module supports response times of 1ms or less when switching from OFF to ON or from ON to OFF. The A1SY42P module also incorporates a Zener diode for surge suppression and supports thermal and short circuit protection functions for the individual output points. There is an operation indicator (LED) that indicates to the users when the A1SY42P module is powered ON, and the unit supports external connections through a 40-pin connector. The A1SY42P output module is compatible with wire sizes of up to 0.3mm², and it comes with two external wiring connectors (soldering type) as accessories. Its external power supply voltage rating is 12/24VDC (10.2 to 30VDC) with a ripple ratio of 5%. It weighs 0.17 kg. The A1SY42P output module’s internal current consumption rating is 170 mA at 5VDC with all of its outputs powered ON.
