AX11

The AX11 module is an AC input unit that was designed and manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric for use in industrial and automation applications with PLCs or programmable logic controllers from the Mitsubishi MELSEC-A series. The AX11 input module has 32 inputs that are optimized to operate with AC voltage. The AX11 input module supports 100-120 Volts AC of rated input voltage and a frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz. The unit seamlessly integrates into MELSEC-A PLCs and supports connections to multiple devices through its inputs. As a result, it can operate precisely and efficiently in machinery control, factory automation, and process monitoring applications. The AX11 input module cannot operate with all 32 inputs powered ON simultaneously. It can only operate with 60% of its inputs (20 input channels) powered ON simultaneously. The AX11 input module uses photocoupler insulation. The module’s rated input current is 10 mA at 100 Volts AC and 60 Hz. The AX11 input module supports approximately 10 kiloohms of input impedance at 60 Hz and approximately 12 kiloohms of input impedance at 50 Hz. It has a removable terminal block with 38 points for hosting connections. The AX11 input module has an ON to OFF response time rating of 25 ms or less, and an OFF to ON response time rating of 15 ms. When the AX11 input module is operating with all points powered ON, its current consumption rating is 110 mA at 5 Volts DC. The AX11 input module can operate in temperatures between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. It can be stored in temperatures between -20 and 75 degrees Celsius.
