Mitsubishi's FX-16EYS-TB module is engineered as an output expansion device, enhancing the capabilities of your automation system. This unit features 16 TRIAC output points, allowing for reliable control of connected devices.
The module operates with an external power supply range of 85 to 242 V AC, providing flexible integration into various setups. Its output voltage range spans 100 to 240 VAC, catering to a range of operational requirements. The response time is roughly 2 ms for turning from OFF to ON, while transitioning from ON to OFF takes around 12 ms, excluding any PLC delay.
This module consumes a power of 2.7 W at 112 mA when supplied with 24 V DC. Connections are made via a terminal block with M3.5 screws, facilitating straightforward integration with the PLC through a connector. The maximum resistance load is set at 0.3 A for each output point, with an overall limit of 0.8 A across four resistance load points under specific conditions.
For inductive loads, the maximum ratings are 15 VA at 100 V AC and 36 VA at 240 V AC. The minimum load requirements are also 0.4 VA and 1.6 VA for 100 V AC and 200 V AC, respectively. Photocoupler insulation provides circuit isolation, ensuring stability and safety during operation. The open circuit leakage current is 1 mA for 100 V AC and 2 mA for 200 V AC. An LED indicator shows when power is actively supplied to the photo-thyristor, assisting in monitoring the device’s status.
