The Mitsubishi FX1N-2AD-BD is an analog input expansion board designed to enhance the functionality of the FX Series. This module facilitates A/D conversion with a timing of about 30 milliseconds for its two channels, optimizing data processing in real-time applications. Importantly, the board does not involve insulation between each channel or the host PLC, allowing for a direct connection that simplifies wiring and reduces complexity.

With an analog voltage input range of DC 0 to 10 volts and an input resistance of 300kΩ, the module is capable of handling varying signal types, supporting an absolute maximum voltage input of -0.5V to +15V. For current inputs, it supports DC 4 to 20mA, featuring an input resistance of 250Ω and a maximum allowable input range of -2mA to +60mA. This wide range makes the FX1N-2AD-BD suitable for numerous industrial applications.

The module also provides a digital output with a 12-bit binary format, ensuring precise representation of the input signals. The voltage input’s resolution stands at 2.5mV, derived from the total voltage divided by 4000, while the current input offers a resolution of 8μA based on the total input range. Both current and voltage inputs boast an integrated accuracy level of ±1% against their respective full scales, yielding ±0.1V for voltages and ±0.16mA for currents. This ensures reliable and accurate data readings for your control systems.
