It supports diverse load types, both resistive and inductive. It allows a maximum capacity of 2 A per individual point for resistive loads. At the same time, the combined output at a common terminal can reach up to 8 A. When dealing with inductive loads, the output capacity is limited to 80 VA per point, ensuring it handles electrical demands effectively.
The minimum load required is rated at 5 V DC and 2 mA. To ensure functionality, the FX2N-16EYR receives its power from the PLC's internal supply. However, it also necessitates an external power input of 24 V DC, with a minimum voltage of 20.4 V.
Temperature conditions affect performance; the operating range is from 0°C to 55°C, provided it remains free from condensation or icing. In storage, it can endure temperatures between -25°C and 75°C. The module delivers response times of approximately 10 ms for both ON and OFF states, facilitating reliable switching.
