Mitsubishi’s FX2N-16MT-ESSUL is a versatile mixed digital I/O module designed for enhanced functionality in industrial automation. It can accept a supply voltage ranging from 100V to 240V AC (allowing for a tolerance of +10%/-15%) and is flexible enough to accommodate different voltage requirements. It is safeguarded by a 3A, 200V fuse, ensuring protection for connected components.

The module consists of 8 digital inputs, designed as sinking type for 24V DC signals, and similarly includes 8 digital outputs, also sinking type, operating under the same voltage. The inputs require a signal current of 7 mA, with a minimum ON-state current of 4.5 mA and a maximum OFF-state current capped at 1.5 mA. An adjustable input response time of around 10 ms supports various operational speeds.

With an output load voltage ranging from 5V to 30V DC, the module maintains a maximum leakage current of just 0.1 mA, ensuring efficient operation. Each output channel can handle a maximum current of 0.5 A, making it reliable for driving various devices.
