The Mitsubishi MDS-B-SVJ2-10 MELDAS drive is an MDS-B-SVJ2 series servo drive or servo amplifier that is designed to offer advanced motor control capabilities. It operates with a power supply voltage range of 200 to 230V AC, 3-phase, at 50 and 60 Hz. The MDS-B-SVJ2-10 drive accommodates voltage fluctuations in the range of 170 to 253V AC, 3-phase, at 50 and 60 Hz for consistent operation even in varying power conditions. It also supports a frequency fluctuation range within +/-5%. By employing a sine wave PWM control and current control method, this drive guarantees precise control over compatible servo motors. A dynamic brake is built into the MDS-B-SVJ2-10 drive. The MDS-B-SVJ2-10 drive can also support a regenerative resistor. The MDS-B-SVJ2-10 servo drive features an external digital input which is an external emergency stop input, and an external digital output which is an external contactor control output or an external brake control output. Additionally, it supports 2 external analog outputs rated at -/+ 10V for versatile connectivity to external systems. The MDS-B-SVJ2-10 servo drive also has comprehensive protection functions. These protective functions include functions to protect the drive from excessive current, regenerative excessive voltage, overload (electron thermal), servo motor overheating, detector errors, regeneration errors, insufficient voltage, momentary power failure, overspeed, and excessive errors. The MDS-B-SVJ2-10 servo drive has an IP20 ingress protection rating. Its IP20-rated structure protects its internal components from small amounts of dust, but it is not waterproof. It weighs 2.0 kg, and its relatively lightweight design makes it easy to install and integrate into various systems.
