Mitsubishi's QD75P2 is a highly capable positioning module designed for precise control applications. It can handle two axes, providing a robust solution for a variety of motion control scenarios. An open collector type enables effective signal management.

The QD75P2 features excellent interpolation capabilities, supporting both linear and circular motion. It utilizes a control system encompassing point-to-point (PTP) control, allowing for linear and arc path setups. Additionally, speed control and speed-position switching provide optimal flexibility depending on operational demands. Control units can be specified in millimeters, inches, degrees, or pulses to fit specific application requirements.

Positioning data storage is robust, accommodating up to 600 separate data points per axis, which can be configured via peripheral devices or sequence programming. A flash ROM supports this ability for data retention, facilitating battery-less backups for parameters, positioning data, and block start data. The external wiring system is established through a 40-pin connector, giving secure connectivity.

With an external dimension profile of 98 mm in height, 27.4 mm in width, and 90 mm in depth, the QD75P2 maintains a compact form factor. It occupies 32 I/O points while consuming 0.46 A internally at 5 VDC. The maximum connection distance between servos is limited to 2 meters, ensuring optimal communication between units.
