The MR-J2-F40A is a versatile servo amplifier within the Mitsubishi MELSERVO MR-J2 series. With a rated output of 400 watts, it accommodates 3-phase voltage inputs of 200-230VAC and single-phase inputs of 230VAC, applicable in environments using either 50 or 60 Hz frequency. The servo amplifier allows 170-253VAC fluctuations for 3-phase and 207-253VAC fluctuations for single-phase operation while maintaining frequency fluctuations of ±5%.

This unit integrates advanced control systems, utilizing sine-wave PWM and current control methods. It features an EEP-ROM capable of sustaining 100,000 write cycles. The 4-digit, 7-segment LED display provides convenient feedback for monitoring performance. Input for torque limits ranges from 0 to ±10VDC, adjusting maximum current except in torque control mode.

Regarding frequency specifications, the maximum input pulse frequency reaches 400 kpps when using a differential receiver or 200 kpps with an open collector setup. An instantaneous option for power failure protection enhances reliability during operation. The device also accommodates error signals of ±80 pulses.

Speed control is accessible via an analog command input, offering a range of 1-1000 for external commands and an internal control capability of 1-5000. The MR-J2-F40A unit's robust specifications make it a reliable choice for precise motion control in various applications.
