It employs a time-shared multiplex cyclic communication method with a data transfer rate of 187.5 kbps, ensuring reliable signal processing across the network.

Designed for versatility in network setup, it supports a transmission path configured as either a daisy chain or loop, allowing for flexible topology options depending on user needs. This unit facilitates substantial communication ranges, achieving a maximum total transmission length of 6.4 kilometers. In addition, it allows a distance of up to 800 meters between nodes, enabling strategic placement of devices within an installation.

The 3G2A5-RM001-EV1 offers significant I/O capacity; it supports a maximum of 512 I/O points when interfaced with the CVM1-CPU01-EV2 and up to 1,024 points for the CVM1-CPU11-EV2. The CVM1-CPU21-EV2 system can manage as many as 2,048 I/O points, thereby accommodating extensive input and output requirements for complex applications.
