The C500-NC221 unit from Omron is a specialized position control device capable of managing two axes simultaneously. With a maximum mass of 0.7 kg, it is lightweight and easily integrable into systems. This unit offers an OFF response time not exceeding 1 millisecond and an ON response time also capped at 1 millisecond, facilitating fast operational performance.

It supports linear interpolation, enabling smoother transitions across axis movements. The unit has a maximum switching capacity of 30 mA and a minimum of 7 mA, both for input voltages ranging from 5 to 24 VDC. Additionally, it has a leakage current specification limited to 0.1 mA and a maximum residual voltage of 0.6 V.

The C500-NC221 works with an external power supply of 24 VDC, accepting up to 50 mA for its operation. An input voltage of 12 to 24 VDC is required, where the unit draws input current of 5 mA at 12V and 15 mA at 24V. It necessitates a minimum ON voltage of 10.5 VDC and a threshold OFF voltage of 3.0 VDC for effective control.
