The Omron CJ1W-MD233 module is a basic expansion I/O unit designed for applications in a CJ I/O Bus system. It is a digital I/O module with 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. The CJ1W-MD233 basic I/O unit was designed to expand the input and output capabilities of a CJ I/O Bus system. It enables the system to interact with a variety of external digital devices and signals. This I/O unit is ideal for integrating different digital devices and sensors into the system to expand it and make it suitable for various automation and industrial applications. The digital inputs can operate as both PNP and NPN types of inputs with a permissible input voltage range of 20.4 to 26.4 Volts DC. These outputs are not protected against short circuits. The CJ1W-MD233 module supports an OFF/ON delay time range of 0-32 ms. The I/O connection type is a MIL option, and the CJ1W-MD233 module comes with 2 detachable I/O connectors, but the plug is not included. While this CJ1W-MD233 module is suitable for various applications, it is not designed for safety functions. Additionally, the CJ1W-MD233 module has 2 IOV (V+) terminals, 2 IOG (V-) terminals, and 2 COM terminals.
