Omron's C20-IO Unit is a specialized I/O link unit under the CVM1 series. This module employs a time-division multiplexing cyclic system for effective data transmission and a half-duplex communication method to efficiently manage data flow.

The device has 32 I/O points, divided into 16 inputs and 16 outputs. It supports a transmission speed of 187.5 kbps and effectively minimizes delays, registering only 4 milliseconds per 32 points. Its data transmission relies on polymer-clad quartz core optical fiber technology, achieving a maximum connectivity distance of 800 meters.
