CVM1-CPU01-E

The Omron CVM1-CPU01-E is a dependable PLC module that offers a wide range of functionalities. It provides an abundant quantity of I/O points, with 512 points (32 words) accessible on the CPU Rack alone. In addition, it can be linked to as many as seven Expansion I/O Racks (or six if an Expansion CPU Rack is employed), making it adaptable to a wide variety of different applications. Large-scale systems can be accommodated by the module thanks to its support for up to 1,024 remote I/O points (64 words). In terms of expansion, it is possible to add one connectable Expansion CPU Rack and as many as seven Expansion I/O Racks. Each of these racks is capable of housing 58M Slaves, 122M Slaves, or 54MH Slaves simultaneously. It is capable of supporting, for example, 8 Units of 58M Slaves, 4 Units of 122M Slaves, and 4 Units of 54MH Slaves. The Omron CVM1-CPU01-E enables reliable operation even during power outages by having a guaranteed backup time of 9,000 hours (about 1 year) and an effective backup time of 43,000 hours (approximately 5 years) without power being supplied. Both of these figures are in reference to the amount of time the device can function without power. An SYSMAC BUS/2 with 64-word capacity and an additional 32-word capacity on the SYSMAC BUS are included in the module, which allows for effective communication capabilities. This PLC module can handle complex control duties thanks to its provision of 32 words of basic rack words. As a result, it is an excellent option for a wide variety of industrial applications.
