The Omron DRT1-ID16 is a Transistor remote module used for controlling remote switching of actuators and other sensors used in automation industry. It has 16 input points with a maximum input current of 10 mA per point. The module offers quick response times, with a maximum ON and OFF delay time of 1.5 ms. The ON and OFF voltages for the input terminals are within the range of 5 VDC to 15 VDC, depending on the NPN or PNP configuration. The module uses photocoupler insulation to ensure safe and isolated operations. It features yellow LEDs as input indicators, providing visual feedback on the status of the connected devices. For power supply, the module operates with an internal power supply voltage of 24 VDC (+10%/-15%) and an I/O power supply voltage of 24 VDC (+10%/-15%). The communications power supply voltage is between 11 VDC and 25 VDC, supplied from the communications connector. The module has excellent noise immunity, withstanding ±600 V for 10 minutes and ±1,500 V for 10 minutes with a pulse width of 100 ns to 1 ms. It is designed to withstand vibrations of 10 to 55 Hz with 1.5-mm double amplitude and shock resistance of 200 m/s2 for malfunction and 300 m/s2 for destruction. With an ambient operating temperature range of 0°C to 55°C and an ambient humidity range of 35% to 85%, the module performs reliably in various industrial environments. It is lightweight, with the 8-point model weighing approximately 135 g and the 16-point model weighing approximately 170 g, making it suitable for various applications where space and weight are important considerations.
