Omron's DRT1-OD16-DC24 is a transistor-based remote I/O module configured as a general-purpose slave unit. This device functions efficiently across a temperature range from 0°C to 55°C, making it versatile for various operational environments. Weighing 180 grams, it is relatively lightweight and easy to install.

The module supports 16 output points utilizing the NPN I/O type. Each output point can handle a current of 0.3 A, with an overall common current limit of 2.4 A. Installation can be performed via DIN rail or screws, offering flexibility for mounting within control panels.

A dedicated M3 terminal block provides a power supply, while a two-tier M3 terminal block is used for I/O connections. With a power supply voltage of 24 V DC, it operates within the specified tolerance of –15% to +10%. The maximum leakage current is also limited to 0.1 mA to ensure safe operation.

When supplying 0.3 A between each output terminal and the common ground, the residual voltage remains capped at 1.2 V. The DRT1-OD16-DC24 module comes without extra features, focusing on reliable performance for basic output tasks.
