This Output Analog Function Module FM-OAN101-0 is critical in industrial automation and control systems. It offers precise analog signal generation and distribution while providing both automatic and manual control options, thus enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of the industrial processes it serves. The product is designed to handle a maximum voltage of 30 volts and draw a maximum current of 25 mA. The module's functionality allows it to operate in Auto and Manual modes. In Auto mode, the analog signals are controlled by the connected DCM140 unit, which generates the control signal. The OAN module then latches onto this signal and converts it into the corresponding 0 to 20 mA analog output, which is further conditioned and distributed to the field devices. Alternatively, when the Auto/Manual switches are set to Manual mode, DCM140's control over the OAN outputs is disabled. The module output is then adjusted manually using the OAN's controls. Rotating the control clockwise increases the output, and counterclockwise decreases it. The OAN module can also control a 0 to 10 volts DC signal using an external resistor. The status of the Auto/Manual switches is reported back to the DCM140, ensuring the control system is aware of the mode of operation.
