The Schneider Electric LV432081 is engineered as a circuit breaker trip unit within the ComPact series. This unit harnesses the advanced Micrologic 2.3 electronic technology, providing effective and precise protection for electrical systems. Capable of handling a rated current of 400 A at an ambient temperature of 40 °C, it is designed for a variety of industrial applications.

Compatibility is a key feature of the LV432081, which is designed to integrate seamlessly with both the ComPact NSX400 and NSX630 series. This trip unit supports a rated operational voltage of 690 V AC and is effective for 50/60 Hz environments. It utilizes a three-pole design, accommodating diverse electrical configurations.

Protection capabilities encompass a range of functions, including overload and short-circuit safeguards, along with instantaneous protection. The long-time protection setting is adjustable from 160 A to 400 A, while short-time protection can be modified within a range of 1.5 to 10 times the rated current. The instantaneous protection level is set at a fixed value of 4800 A, ensuring immediate response to hazardous conditions.

In terms of delays, the long-time delay is fixed up to 400 seconds, whereas the short-time delay is set at a rapid 0.02 seconds, enabling quick responses to electrical faults.

Thermal memory is incorporated to offer 20 minutes of pre-trip and post-trip memory, which aids in analyzing trip conditions. Local signaling is facilitated through LEDs that display operational status and overload conditions, providing visual feedback for maintenance and monitoring applications.
