The Schneider Electric XBTL1003 functions as a versatile HMI operator interface terminal designed for seamless operation with MAGELiS series applications. It is equipped to handle multiple protocols such as Unitelway, FIPWAY, FIPIO, ISAWAY, Ethernet TCP/IP, and MODBUS+, thereby ensuring broad compatibility with standard communication networks.
Compatible with Schneider Electric PREMIUM PLCs with a processor version of 3.8 or later, this terminal enhances the efficiency of system monitoring. It has an exceptional alarm log capacity, capable of registering between 1,000 and 2,000 logged events. The diagnostics buffer is adjustable, allowing users to set a cycle time, with the default configuration set at 1,000 ms. Users can monitor up to 16 distinct alarm areas identified by numbers 0 through 15.
Real-time synchronization with PLC programming environments like PL7 and CONCEPT allows for dynamic integration of variables to adapt to changing operational scenarios. Remote transfer functionality utilizing MODBUS+ network compatibility is available, though this requires optional communication cards such as the MBP100 or the SA85.
Alarm processing is streamlined with customizable acknowledgment settings via the OP_CTRL parameter. The terminal can display up to 100 active alarms simultaneously, simplifying the user experience. Furthermore, user interface customization capabilities, including organization by alarm groups, color-coding, and prioritization, enhance operational clarity.
Built-in I/O diagnostics support monitoring for errors through the IO_DIA function block while ASI bus device diagnostics can be accessed via the ASI_DIA function block. Motion control diagnostics, which monitor translating and rotating movements, are facilitated through the NEPO_DIA and TEPO_DIA function blocks, making the XBTL1003 a comprehensive solution for effective operational management.
