The AM-E785-QK0 model is a remote input/output processor upgrade kit from Schneider Electric's Modicon 984 series, designed to enhance modular system capabilities. This device operates efficiently in a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius in environments free from condensation. When not in operation, it can withstand storage temperatures as low as -40 and as high as 85 degrees Celsius.

With an IP20 protection rating, the AM-E785-QK0 is suited for indoor applications that do not expose it to harsh elements. The communication capabilities of this upgrade kit include Ethernet IP and Modbus TCP protocols, facilitating reliable data exchange.

The kit is equipped with three ports to support connectivity requirements, allowing the integration of up to 16 remote drops, thus extending the system’s reach. For immediate visual feedback, four LED indicators on the front panel signal the status of local operations.

Working at elevations of up to 6,561.68 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level, this model is built to perform reliably in a variety of high-altitude installations. Additionally, it maintains functionality in relative humidity levels of 93% or less, without condensation. The AM-E785-QK0 includes the executive software SW-E785-Q00, crucial for its operation in tandem with compatible equipment such as the Modicon Quantum S908 remote input/output adapter.
