The MP-486 from Schneider Electric is classified as an electric valve and damper actuator within the MP-4 Series. It is engineered to work seamlessly with Barber-Colman Microtherm proportional controllers, ensuring precise control in various applications. The actuator runs on a voltage rating of 120 V AC, with a frequency of 60 Hz. Equipped with a torque rating of 220 lb-in, it also allows for adjustment across a wide range of torque settings, specifically from 130 to 1300 lb-in, providing flexibility for varying operational requirements.

This actuator features a rotation capability of 180 degrees, adjustable from 45 degrees to 320 degrees, allowing it to adapt to different installation requirements. It is capable of operating within a temperature range of -40°C to 58°C, guaranteeing reliable performance in extreme conditions. Likewise, the storage temperature can be kept between -40°C and 71°C, ensuring its durability even when not in active operation.
