Schneider Electric’s model 9012GMW4 serves as a comprehensive pressure switch well-suited for diverse applications involving air and hydraulic oil along with non-corrosive gases or liquids. The switch can effectively monitor pressures between 270 and 9000 psi (equivalent to 1862 to 62053 kPa). For extreme conditions, it can resist pressures peaking at 25000 psi (or 1724 bar).

The differential pressure setting approximates 400 psi, with tolerances of ± 60 psi for low and ± 100 psi for high thresholds. It incorporates two silver-nickel snap-action SPDT-DB contacts that ensure reliable operation across multiple cycles. The contact ratings allow handling of 6 A at 120 VAC, 3 A at 240 VAC, and up to 0.27 A at 250 VDC. This pressure switch supports a maximum voltage rating of 600 VAC.

Fluid connection is achieved through a ¼″–18 NPTF conduit with UL 508 certification, while cable entry utilizes ½″ NPT conduit terminals. Designed with a die-cast aluminum enclosure, it adheres to NEMA 4, 4X, 13, and IP65 standards, thereby enhancing its protective performance against environmental factors.

Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from –23 °C to 85 °C (–10 to 185 °F), the switch shows remarkable durability in various conditions. The expected mechanical life of this unit exceeds 3 million cycles, ensuring durability, making it a dependable choice for strict industrial requirements.
