Its discrete input configuration comprises eight digital inputs compliant with IEC 61131-2 Type 1 standards. In addition, it features four inputs designated for touch probes that also conform to the same standard. The input voltage for these digital inputs ranges from 15 to 30 V DC, with a current rating of 4 mA per input.

For output functions, this controller provides eight digital outputs, which can handle a current load of up to 500 mA. Operating on a 24 V DC power supply, it ensures a power consumption of 30 watts during operation.

The LMC201CAA10000 is supported by a memory architecture that includes 512 MB of DDR2 RAM and 128 kB of NVRAM, allowing sufficient space for applications and data retention. Programming is conducted via multiple languages, including LD, SFC, ST, CFC, FBD, and IL, enabling flexibility based on user preference and application requirements.

Connectivity options are extensive, featuring two Ethernet ports for Sercos and standard 10/100BASE-T, as well as a dedicated Ethernet port for a master encoder. Additionally, it includes a serial link for RS232 or RS485 communication and a CAN port for CANopen devices. For local access, there is also a USB type A port.
