The Schneider Electric HGA36125 circuit breaker is a robust solution designed to ensure effective electrical safety. This molded case circuit breaker comes with a rated current of 125 A and operates efficiently at a voltage rating of 600 V AC and 500 V DC. It is configured with three poles.
This unit contains advanced thermal-magnetic trip unit technology, ensuring responsive operation to protect against overload and short circuits. It achieves impressive breaking capacities—65 kA at 240 VAC, 35 kA at 480 VAC, expectedly lowering to 18 kA at 600 VAC. For DC applications, it supports breaking capacities of 20 kA at both 500 VDC and 250 VDC.
Designed for flexible installation, the HGA36125 employs an I-Line mounting method. Electrical connections include both I-Line for the line and lugs for the load side, permitting the use of AWG 14 to 3/0 conductors, compatible with copper and aluminum types.
Magnetic operational characteristics are notable, with a hold current of 900 A and a tripping current rated at 1700 A, which facilitates accurate circuit management during variations in load conditions. With an IP40 rating, the breaker provides adequate protection against solid objects and is rated for ambient operating temperatures of up to 40 °C. Additionally, it features the ABC phase connection configuration, reinforcing its practical application in various system setups.
