The Schneider Electric HJA36090 is an electrical circuit breaker tailored for robust circuit protection. As part of the PowerPact series, this model is equipped for nominal currents of 90 Amperes and configured with three poles for effective performance. Operating safely at voltages up to 690V AC as per IEC 60947-3, it is suited for various applications that require reliable disconnection and interruption.

This circuit breaker features an impressive interrupting capacity: it can handle 100 kA at 240V AC, 65 kA at 480V AC, and 25 kA at 600V AC. For DC applications, its interrupting capacity is rated at 20 kA at 250V. The service breaking capacity is equally strong, with ratings of 100 kA at 220/240V AC and 65 kA at 380/440/415V AC, making it versatile for different voltage requirements. Additionally, it has an impulse withstand voltage of 8 kV according to IEC 60947-2, providing added protection against transients.

The tripping mechanism employs both thermal and magnetic principles, allowing for a reliable response to overloads and short circuits. An instantaneous trip setting is offered at 1450 Amperes, and the continuous operation current factor is capped at 80 percent. The insulation voltage rating is positioned at 750V according to IEC 60947-2, further underscoring its efficacy in demanding environments.

Installation is convenient, utilizing an I-Line bracket system, and it is built for an enclosure protection level of IP40, ensuring adequate protection from dust and solid particles on the front face. This circuit breaker operates within a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C (-13°F to 158°F), allowing it to function effectively in a variety of climates.
