The Schneider Electric JDL36250 is a molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) providing robust protection for electrical circuits. It is built with a three-pole configuration, rated for a maximum current of 250A. The control is executed through a user-friendly toggle switch, facilitating easy operation. This MCCB offers an impressive breaking capacity, rated at 25 kA for 240V AC applications and drops to 18 kA for 480V AC. For higher voltage scenarios, it provides 14 kA at 600V AC and up to 20 kA for both 250V and 500V DC applications.

Designed for versatility, the device functions effectively at an operating voltage of 600V AC while covering frequencies of 50/60 Hz. The service breaking capacities are rated similarly, with strengths of 25 kA at 220/240V AC, 18 kA at 380/440/415V AC, and corresponding ratings at higher DC voltages. It withstands an impulse voltage of up to 8 kV, ensuring reliability in the face of electrical surges.

The thermal-magnetic trip unit offers dependable protection and incorporates a magnetic trip setting established at 2500A. The continuous carrying current is limited to 80% of the nominal rating, promoting safe operation. As for mounting, the JDL36250 is designed for unit-mounting with lugs. It has an insulation voltage rating of 750V and features an IP40 protection rating at the front, suitable for Pollution Degree 3 environments, providing essential safeguarding against dust and moisture ingress.
