The device ensures reliable accuracy with a specified tolerance of ±2% RH at 25 degrees Celsius. Additionally, a maximum hysteresis of ±1.2% RH provides stable readings under varying conditions. Communication is achieved via the S-Link (Sensor Link) protocol, which employs a 2-wire, non-polarity-sensitive setup. This feature simplifies installation and integration with existing systems.
The MN-S2HT-500 includes four screw terminals that accept AWG #18 to #24 wire sizes, which are suitable for connecting it to other devices. It supports a cable run length of up to 200 feet (61 m), providing flexibility in sensor placement relative to control systems. Mounting options are versatile, allowing for direct wall installation, use with a 2x4 electrical box, placement in a 1/4 DIN box, or attachment to a surface box. For operational convenience, a pushbutton override function is provided, which is indicated by an LED status display.
