The LRD03 model from Schneider Electric's TeSys series is specifically crafted as a differential thermal overload relay for safeguarding machinery against overload conditions. With certification as a Class 10A thermal overload relay according to IEC 60947-4-1, it promises reliability in operational performance.

This relay can withstand an insulation voltage of up to 600V for UL and CSA standards and as much as 690V for compliance with IEC specifications. The operational capabilities extend to power supply voltages up to 690V AC within a frequency range of 0-400 Hz, offering flexibility for various installation needs. The LRD03 also boasts an impulse withstand voltage rating of 6 kV, enhancing its durability.

The device is designed to monitor phase failure; it triggers an interruption when the load exceeds 130% of the preset current while two phases remain active. The tripping threshold adheres to the standard of 1.14 ± 0.06 times the adjusted current, ensuring precise functionality.

Compatibility with both AC and DC networks is a highlight, alongside multiple mounting options which allow for installation on plates, rails, or directly beneath contactors. The relay's control interface is user-friendly, featuring a red stop button alongside a blue reset button for quick operation.

For auxiliary functions, it is equipped with one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact. The operational temperature range is broad, extending from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius (-4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit), making it suitable for a variety of environments.
