The GPD-333 from Yaskawa is a specialized AC drive setup system tailored for efficient integration in control applications. This system is intended for panel mounting in a vertical orientation, ensuring it fits neatly into various setups. A fan cooling mechanism helps maintain optimal operating temperatures, with the unit rated to operate effectively between 0 to 40 °C.

In terms of storage, the unit can sustain environmental conditions ranging from -20 to 60 °C. During installation, it can function at altitudes of up to 1000 meters without experiencing performance changes. The device is built to operate in environments with humidity levels from 5% to 95%, provided they do not condense. The enclosure boasts an IP20 rating, identifying it as an open chassis system, which may necessitate careful handling due to exposure risks.

Powering the GPD-333 requires either 200–240 V or 380–480 V, operating with a three-phase voltage configuration. The drive includes removable screw terminals for control connections, facilitating straightforward wiring for both starting and stopping through a local keypad or via remote I/O communication.

Should there be a need for programming, a digital keypad is available as an optional tool, alongside software options for comprehensive configurations. This system allows for top or bottom cable entry, varying depending on the model. Importantly, a chassis ground connection is essential for proper operation, emphasizing safety and system integrity.
